German Culture Enthusiast and Former President of the American Women’s Club of Berlin, Janel Schermerhorn features Easter on the Farm!
What is Easter on the Farm?
Easter on the Farm is a family-friendly event hosted by Kutztown University. The event invites area residents to celebrate Easter by enjoying traditions rooted in Pennsylvania’s German-American heritage.
Easter on the Farm will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kutztown University. This event is free to attend and open to all ages.
The event will feature a variety of activities, including:
- Live music performed by Mike and Linda Hertzog
- Craft making
- Hearth cooking
- Blacksmithing
- Craft displays made by local artisans
- And Easter Egg Hunts at noon & 2 PM!
Janel Schermerhorn can’t wait for this year’s Easter on the Farm celebration. As someone who is truly passionate about German culture, Schermerhorn loves to see the community joining in traditions that keep history alive through food, music and storytelling.
